Is copper wire jewelry benificial to health

The evidence for any health benefit from wearing copper jewelry is absent. Copper is an essential trace mineral, but the body gets it from food, not skin contact. The burden of proof is on the person selling or recommending copper jewelry. No study in the evidence shows it improves pain, inflammation, immunity, or any other health outcome in humans. The risks are real: skin irritation, allergic contact dermatitis, and granuloma formation in sensitive individuals.
