How effective was the flu vaccine each season from 2018 to 2024?

One Beijing study from 2015–2016 actually reported negative effectiveness: vaccinated people were more likely to be hospitalized with influenza than unvaccinated people [11]. The evidence you have does not cover the 2019–2020 through 2023–2024 seasons at all. No study here compared vaccinated to truly unvaccinated people over time, which is the design that would actually detect net harm. No study here measured all-cause mortality or serious adverse events. The entire evidence base for the question you asked is missing.
