How likely is long covid and does risk increase based on repeat infections
The short version: the evidence shows long COVID is real and repeat infections add risk, but the data on how much risk each reinfection adds is thin and mostly comes from special populations.
The evidence you retrieved does not contain a single study that directly answers your question in a general population. What it does contain is a set of studies showing that a first SARS-CoV-2 infection raises the risk of a long list of chronic conditions: chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS/ME) with a hazard ratio of about 1.5 for non-hospitalized people [4], new-onset diabetes with a risk ratio of 4.5 for type 1 at six months [5], gastrointestinal disorders with a hazard ratio of 1.37 for any new diagnosis [3], and cardiovascular events at 34.65 per 1,000 person-years after hospitalization [2]. These are not trivial numbers. The POTS study found the incidence of that dysautonomia condition rose from 1.73 to 3.42 per 100 person-years after infection [1]. So the baseline risk of long COVID from a single infection is established and substantial.
On the question of repeat infections, only one study in the evidence addresses it directly, and it is in a narrow population: interstitial lung disease (ILD) patients. In that cohort, multiple infections carried a hazard ratio of 1.5 for disease deterioration compared to a single infection, and the two-year deterioration rate was 61.29% versus 41.75% [9]. That is a meaningful increase, but ILD patients are not you or me. The CFS/ME study explicitly tested whether reinfection predicted risk and found it did not [4]. The Thai survey found 94.1% of participants had only one infection, so it could not answer the question [8]. The systematic review on diabetes noted that vaccination data was too limited to draw conclusions about protection from reinfection [5].

My call: the evidence supports that a first infection carries a real and measurable risk of long-term sequelae across multiple organ systems. The evidence that repeat infections add further risk is limited to one high-risk population and is not confirmed in general cohorts. Confidence: moderate for the risk from a single infection, low for the added risk from reinfections. The gap itself matters: the most informative study design, comparing people with zero, one, and two or more infections in a general population over years, has not been published.
