no way there has to be more than those. What about cjc1295

The short version: CJC-1295 does raise growth hormone and IGF-1 in people, but the only human trial here is a 2006 dosing study in a few dozen healthy adults, and nobody has shown it builds muscle, burns fat, or is safe long term.

CJC-1295 is a long-acting version of GHRH, the signal that tells your pituitary to release growth hormone. In that 2006 study it pushed GH and IGF-1 up and kept them up, which is the whole selling point [1]. That is a lab readout, not a result you can feel. The trial was small, short, and looked at hormone levels, not body composition, strength, or whether anyone got hurt [1].

The honest gap is bigger than the finding. There is no long-term safety data here, no cancer data, and no trial comparing it to a placebo on any outcome a healthy adult cares about. The closest human safety signal in this evidence is on growth hormone itself: in critically ill patients, growth hormone did not lower death and was linked to longer ICU and hospital stays [2]. That is a different population and a different molecule, so it does not convict CJC-1295. It does tell you that pushing the GH axis up is not automatically good.

What we knowCJC-1295 [1]
Human trial sizeA few dozen healthy adults
What it measuredGH and IGF-1 levels
Hard outcomes (muscle, fat, death)Not measured
Long-term safetyNot studied here

My call: CJC-1295 reliably raises the hormone, and that is all the human evidence here shows; the benefit you would actually want is unproven and the long-term risk is unknown. Confidence: moderate on the hormone effect, low on any real-world benefit or safety.
